Square Dancing has been a part of the Sun City Center active lifestyle since Del Webb hired a caller/teacher for weekly square dances in the Town Hall back in 1962. The Sun City Center Swingers Square Dance Club is one of the longest continually operating clubs in the community, and will celebrate its

40th Anniversary in 2008. They hold Plus Level square dances almost every Friday in Community Hall, and two different level classes on Tuesday evenings. Special refreshment dance parties, such as Chili, Finger Food, or Pie Night are scheduled once a month.Besides the weekly dances, club members participate in other community activities such as the Golf Cart Parade, and enjoy performing as part of the entertainment at occasions such as the Sun City Center Fun Fest.

Tuesday Night Classes: Beginner, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM; PLUS, 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM
