Dear Friends

The year 2010 has not been a good one for us. It was discovered that I had colon cancer and I was operated on in mid January. I have returned home now and I’m recovering a little each day.

For the past forty years plus, Dawn and I have made square dancing our lives. It has given us a great deal of joy and new friends from around the world but the time has come to take our lives in a different direction.

A number of years ago I started to get emails from visitors to our state asking where to square dance. They became so numerous that I thought it would be a good idea to create a web site that would make all of our information available on line. The Florida Dance Web was created and began to grow. The concept proved to be so successful that in 2009 the site had 86,574 visitors..

But, do to the time and effort required to keep it up, we are shutting down the Florida Dance Web. It will remain on line in the current condition until the domain names expire.

Please do not ask to have changes made.
